Poste Regie - A Bed and Breakfast Inn Just Outside of Siena

Poste Regie is located in a southern region of Tuscany, known as Montagnola. Poste Regie is located 15 km (10 miles) southwest of Siena which is about a 20-minute drive and about an hour and a half from the Tyrrhenian coast (60 km). Florence is 70 km north and an hour and 20 minutes away.

By Bus
To get from Siena's train station to Poste Regie you would just take the N104 going to Pievescola. During the school year it starts at 1:50 PM till 6:00 PM and in the summer time it's 1:15 PM till 6:00 PM. Poste Regie is the second stop. From the Piazza Gramsci bus terminal you should take the N33 going to Sovicille and Ancaiano and departs at 11:00 AM.

The bed and breakfast is right by the bus stop and buses depart from Poste Regie to the train station at 7:17 AM, 11:40 AM (this is for the Piazza Gramsci bus terminal in Siena), and 3:00 PM respectively.

There is also Hertz Car Rental by the train station in Siena. It is located at Viale Sardegna 37, in Siena and the phone number is 0577 45085 and fax is 0577 249508. It's open Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM and closed on Sundays. From Siena Ovest take the SS-73 Senese-Aretina while following signs to Sovicille. As you get into Sovicille turn left and then right. After 4 kilometers you arrive at Ancaiano. The bed and breakfast is the only house on the right side after an elbow curve.
