Q. What are the check-in and check-out times for your bed and breakfast?
Check- in time is between 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Check-out time is between 8.00 AM - 12.00 PM

Q. When is your bed and breakfast open for business?
Poste Regie is closed between November 1st to March 31st.
As these dates vary due to the seasons, please e-mail us if you wish to stay at Poste Regie during these times.

Q. Do you accept credit cards?
No, but we can settle the bill on arrival.

Q.Is breakfast included?
Yes, breakfast is served between 8:30 -10:30 a.m. in the kitchen overlooking the courtyard. It consists of Tuscan bread and crostata (pastries) with butter, coffee, milk, tea fresh fruit. and homemade jelly made by the Peruzzi family. Meals can be cooked but we must be notified in advance.

Q. What languages does the innkeeper speak at Poste Regie?
Beatrice speaks English, French, Spanish, and of course, Italian. Beatrice was an Italian language instructor at Colby College in Waterville, Maine. She would love for students and alumni to visit her bed and breakfast!

Q. Do you have internet access at Poste Regie?
Yes, we do, but we need to be notified in advance.

Q. How do you get to your bed and breakfast?
Please follow the directions located here. It may possible to setup a time when we can pick you up from a specific location in Siena if you call advance or if you contact reservations@posteregie.com.

By Bus
To get from Siena's train station to Poste Regie you would just take the N104 going to Pievescola. During the school year it starts at 1:50 PM till 6:00 PM and in the summer time it's 1:15 PM till 6:00 PM. Poste Regie is the second stop. From the Piazza Gramsci bus terminal you should take the N33 going to Sovicille and Ancaiano and departs at 11:00 AM.

The bed and breakfast is right by the bus stop and buses depart from Poste Regie to the train station at 7:17 AM, 11:40 AM (this is for the Piazza Gramsci bus terminal in Siena), and 3:00 PM respectively.

Q. Where can we rent a car?
There is also a Hertz Car Rental by the train station in Siena. It is located at Viale Sardegna 37, in Siena and the phone number is 0577 45085 and fax is 0577 249508. It's open Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM and closed on Sundays. If you are outside of Siena you can visit Auto Europe which guarantees the lowest rates and deals with the major European companies.

No.

Q. What is the nearest city to Ancaiano besides Siena?
We are 2 km away from Rosia.

Q. Are children allowed at the bed and breakfast?
Yes, children are welcome and childcare can be provided upon request and in advance.

Q. Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
No.
